Valerie D. Samii was born in France and grew up in Saint Germain-en-Laye, outside Paris. Her passion has always been arts in one form or another. Because she portrayed quite a talent in drawing and painting, she continued to paint instinctively. She has always been very gifted with her hands, so no matter what avocation she engaged in, she always managed to be good at it.

Recently with encouragement from her husband, she decided to take up painting professionally since it was apparent that her artwork was quite unique and attractive. Her pieces are unique and not reproduced in numbers. She prefers to create mostly classical paintings, especially, on furniture, however her art can be diverse and eclectic. She conjointly does portraits from pictures, which exhibit her talent in details and precision.

Valerie is also a graphic designer and creates impressive and highly artistic corporate and personal logos and graphics.

Before pursuing painting full time, she ran an exclusive French pastry production facility with her husband in California. She happened to be a talented French pastry chef among many other talents she has been blessed with.
